UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) is one of the oldest family medicine departments in the nation. We provide remarkable patient care, offer outstanding educational programs for medical students, residents, and fellows, and conduct innovative research. UW-DFMCH offers employment opportunities for family medicine physicians in the clinics (20 clinics), as well as in the residency program. These opportunities are academic appointments that offer teaching of medical students, residents, or fellows.
