The BWH Department of Dermatology is recruiting dermatologists interested in pursuing community-based dermatology. This is an exciting opportunity to enjoy the benefits of an academic department and provide general dermatology care in the community. Successful candidates are expected to be dedicated to providing outstanding clinical care and participate in mission-oriented community service. We encourage the initiation of clinically relevant scholarship. Candidates must be board eligible or certified in Dermatology.
The position is in our practice at the Gretchen S. and Edward A. Fish Center for Women’s Health located at the Brigham and Women’s Health Care Center in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, a short commute to downtown Boston, and is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School [HMS]. The Fish Center for Women’s Health is a multi-specialty practice that is recognized as a leader in women’s healthcare for creating an interdisciplinary model of care within an academic medical center. The
Center’s outpatient services include primary care and several medical specialties. Dermatology provides care in dedicated space.
The BWH Department of Dermatology is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of medicine through clinical, research, teaching, and administrative excellence. As the pace-setter in dermatology, we render cutting-edge, patient-focused care and perform the best and most innovative basic, clinical, translational, and outcomes research. Our faculty enjoy the benefits of working in an extremely collegial environment within the prestigious healthcare system Mass General Brigham.
We are a Harvard Medical School Department of Dermatology. Physicians hired may be eligible for a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor commensurate with achievements and dependent upon teaching of Harvard associated learners.
