Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care - PICU - (PICU RN)

Exclusive Order to AMN. The flagship Medical Center for this major hospital organization, is community-focused, with a highly specialized care environment. Located in East Bay of the San Francisco area, and only 12 miles from downtown. Enjoy 13 weeks in a variety of adventure in culture, arts and food.

The PICU unit holds 10 beds with levels 2-3 in acuity. Typical diagnosis for this unit includes: Neurosurgery; spine surgery; respiratory and GI; no cardiac. Traveler will be expected to float to the Pediatric unit. Computer skills are required and can be trained on the EPIC system. This is a small unit with collaborative practices with physicians and nurses; family centered theory.

Required Qualifications
Neurosurgery experience
BLS, PALS certifications
Experience in vents; Baxter infusion pumps; PCA; drips, chest
May be Required to float to Richmond

Preferred Qualifications
Health Connect
May be expected to cross train to at least one other Maternal Child Health/Family Centered Care area with appropriate certifications.
