Lavender - The company:
Lavender is an online psychiatry and therapy office committed to providing high-quality yet affordable mental health services for New Yorkers. Founded and led by nurses, Lavender prides itself on taking good care of its clients by ensuring they are not re-traumatized in the process of seeking and scheduling care. We partner with friendly and flexible psychiatric nurse practitioners who provide both medication management and therapy to our clients in one visit - saving them valuable time & money.
The opportunity:
We are currently seeking full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to perform tele-psychiatric visits for clients based in New York state. If you enjoy working on a team with bright, ambitious advanced practice nurses, and are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice, this is an excellent opportunity for you. We offer a competitive 1099 compensation model with a supportive work environment that offers mentorship and training. Providers are able to build their own full-time schedules within our operating hours which are 8am to 8pm seven days a week. We require that providers commit a minimum of 20 hours per week to Lavender but currently prefer to hire providers interested in working on average, 40 hours per week.
The responsibilities:
Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy or a combination of both. Proactively follow-up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess for efficacy of recommended interventions and ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved. Our clientele strongly prefer combined medication and therapy appointments, thus, it is important that applicants are comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy.
The candidate:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Active New York State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
ANCC Board Certification
1+ years of experience working in adult mental health
Strong assessment skills
