A highly respected health organization in the beautiful Anchorage, AK area is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced PCU / Progressive Care Unit permanent position. This is a 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) benefits-eligible position, with relocation and sign-on.

Job Synopsis:

• Develop plan of care for patients.
• Ability to work and treat people of all backgrounds and cultures.
• Documents patient assessment concisely and completely.
• Administers medication and performs treatments.
• Coordinates patient teaching through collaboration with staff.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Reviews documentation as needed.
• Supports orientation of staff and acts as a mentor.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Has a deep understanding of the programs/services and policies and procedures of the facility.
• Evaluates patient responses to interventions.

Requirements:

• Nursing degree/diploma in-hand upon hire
• BSN within 3 years of hire (RN's with 20+ years exempt)
• RN license - unencumbered (ability to get Registered Nurse AK License upon hire) or compact RN license
• Active BLS certification
