Job Synopsis:
- Develop plan of care for patients.
- Ability to work and treat people of all backgrounds and cultures.
- Documents patient assessment concisely and completely.
- Administers medication and performs treatments.
- Coordinates patient teaching through collaboration with staff.
- Attends staff meetings.
- Reviews documentation as needed.
- Supports orientation of staff and acts as a mentor.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Has a deep understanding of the programs/services and policies and procedures of the facility.
- Evaluates patient responses to interventions.
Requirements:
- Nursing degree/diploma in-hand upon hire
- BSN within 3 years of hire (RN's with 20+ years exempt)
- RN license - unencumbered (ability to get Registered Nurse AK License upon hire) or compact RN license
- Active BLS certification
