Job Description
Metro Eye Care is a comprehensive ophthalmology and optometry practice with locations in Paramus and Franklin Lakes, NJ. We are looking for dedicated individuals to learn and grow with us. You will work closely with patients and our team of physicians in all aspects of ophthalmic care, including Cataract and LASIK surgery, Retina, Glaucoma, Dry Eye, glasses/contacts and routine eye exams.
Position responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Prior experience in an ophthalmology or optometry setting and familiarity with EHR system is strongly recommended, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Applicants MUST be flexible in their weekly work schedule, be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic and be willing to work as part of a team. Saturday hours about 2 times per month is required. Travel between our Paramus and Franklin Lakes offices is required.

- Patient work-ups, including visual acuity, instilling eye drops, taking patient medical history and chief complaint, etc.
- Refraction
- Performing diagnostic testing, including visual field, fundus photography, OCT, AR, NCT, iCare, dry eye testing, etc.
- Additional administrative work- making appointments and filing
