Job Description
Pivotal Health is looking for experienced Nurse Practitioners (full or part time) to join our growing clinical team servicing the Milwaukee, WI metro area.

As the face of the company to our patients, our Nurse Practitioners should always strive to provide care that is friendly, compassionate, convenient, and high-quality. The Nurse Practitioner will travel to patients' homes and provide comprehensive, acute health assessments in the diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management of Pivotal Health's patients to include laboratory studies, minor procedures, splinting, wound care, suturing, IV fluid and medication administration, facilitate specialist referral and/or primary care follow-up.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of nurse practitioner experience in the Emergency Department, an Urgent Care clinic, or in family practice
  • Current unrestricted state license as a nurse practitioner
  • Current drivers license and clean driving record
  • Nationally board certified, current
  • Current BLS / ACLS certification
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA license

Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Ability to document in electronic medical record, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Ability to adopt and champion technological tools to optimize provider workflow
  • Ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
  • Knowledge and ability to perform therapeutic interventions such as splinting, suturing, wound care, minor surgical procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills utilizing evidence-based standards of practice
  • Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
  • Dedicated to providing excellent healthcare and a top-quality patient experience
  • Consistently exhibit the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and compassion

  • Technically savvy and comfortable using tools such as iPads for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps for care coordination
