13 weeks, 12 HR shifts nights or days available!

Travel: $93 per hour ($26.40 non taxed + $66.60 taxed)
Local: $79 per hour

Hourly rates listed are a flat rate. These are inclusive of taxed income and non-taxed stipends (to cover housing, meals and incidentals, travel, etc). Breakdown of income is completely negotiable based on the preferences of each nurse (as long as it adheres to federal and state standards.

Job Requirements:

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.

Unit primarily cares for the adult surgical patient population 18 and above

• Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.

• Analyzes the information collected to determine patient's needs and expected outcomes.

• Develops and implements plan of care based upon the assessment, diagnosis, and expected outcomes of patient.

• Oversees the delegation of the plan to other licensed and unlicensed personnel.

• Ensures a discharge plan is a part of the individualized plan of care as appropriate to the population served.

• Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve the desired patient outcomes.

• Maintains working knowledge of and implements key standards that effect operation of patient population served.

• Contributes to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and others (example: students, orientees).

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)

Cerner - iView computerized charting, Pxysis

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.

2 years nursing preferred

4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

- RN Licensed to practice in the State of Missouri

• Current BLS

• Basic Arrhythmia

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention

- ACLS

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)

No call, but will be expected to work as needed including weekends and holidays

6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)

All Inpatient Units

7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.

16-bed unit, all private rooms with nurse's stations located outside of patient rooms

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

1 to 4 Days and Nights

1 Day Orientation with Education as well as 1 shift floating for orientation
