COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Registered Nurse (RN)

• Pay range $41.88 - $52.35 per hour - not including pay differentials
• Up to $25,000 per year in loan assistance from NHSC, Alaska Sharp, IHS with 2-year agreement
• $5,000-$7,500 sign on bonus and additional 6-7% ($5,065-$6,500) annual retention bonus
• $10,000-$12,500 relocation assistance paid before you move plus 30 days of free housing
• 23 days of PTO, 10 days of continuing education, and 10 paid holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS Registered Nurse (RN)

• Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Outpatient setting in a regional hospital serving a Native Alaskan territory the size of Oregon
• Hospital is fully accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Registered Nurse (RN)

• Required minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications by start date
• Basic EKG skills and ambulatory experience are preferred
• Experience and desire to live in a cold climate is preferred

COMMUNITY Registered Nurse (RN)

• City only accessible by plane or boat - direct flights from Anchorage, AK available
• Recreational activities include hunting, fishing, kayaking, four-wheeling, and more
• City amenities include family-owned restaurants, cab service, work out facility, movie theater
• There are no large trees or mountains - this is Alaskan Tundra
