Operating Room Nurse Manager

An accredited acute care hospital located in northern Indiana is currently searching for an experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to join their award-winning healthcare team.

Under direction of the Nurse Director, the Operating Room Nurse Manager will oversee a surgical department made up of 13 surgical suites and 2 hybrid operating rooms. The Nurse Manager will assist in leading an advanced surgical department that if prepared to perform a variety of surgeries including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, and daVinci robotic surgery.

The Operating Room Nurse Manager is responsible for managing the nursing staff within the surgical department and will serve as the nursing leader within the operating room. The Nurse Manager will develop and implement policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of care within the unit. The Nurse Manager must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing and current Indian state nursing licensure. Prior experience working in a progressive management role within a surgical department is required.
