The Senior Behavioral Health Unit at Watertown Regional Medical Center is seeping an Registered Nurse for PRN (casual status) work. Duties to include providing individualized psychiatric nursing care in a professional, competent, efficient, safe, compassionate and caring manner. The RN assesses the patients' needs, plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of patient care. This position carries out these responsibilities independently with the guidance of accepted nursing and department practice as well as directed by medical staff. The Registered Nurse directs the nursing care activities of paraprofessionals or other nursing team members and provides nursing leadership. The RN is responsible for assuring patient safety at all times and facilitates effective communication with patients, support personnel and member of the healthcare team. This position provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This is a PRN (casual) status position with vairalbe shifts avialable.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Nursing Required. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Currently licensed by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
