Position: Registered Nurse

Dept: Cardiac Care Unit

Location(s): Manhattan, Bronx & Queens

Shift: Day & Night

Schedule: 3x12 & 5x 8

Cotract Duration: 3 - 6+ Months

Hourly Rate: $50+

Summary: Cardiac care unit (CCU) nurses work with patients undergoing treatment for various heart conditions, as well as surgery for which patients need closely supervised care both during and after the operation

Required Qualifications

• NYS License Registered Nurse
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Valid AHA BLS
• 2 years of PAID experience in CCU unit

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient condition, Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Implement patient care and treatment plans, order diagnostic tests
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients and families about health maintenance and disease prevention
