Reporting to the Nursing Manager of Home Care Services, the Nurse Educator Home Health works with Nursing Directors, Nursing Managers, Nursing Staff, and physicians, to ensure quality patient care standards are met in the Home Health Departments. The Nursing Manager Home Health will also collaborate with other staff to ensure Federal, State, and The Joint Commission standards are also met. The hospital's Hospice Program works with families to help them understand what is happening. They also provide expert pain and symptom management, as well as emotional support.

Responsibilities for this Nursing Educator Home Health include nursing education and patient education. This includes acting as a liaison between hospital, patient, and physicians. Also, the RN Educator Home Care Services will educate patients about appropriate medication prior to treatment.
