ICU Nurse

ICU Travel Nurse- 13 week contract

Intensive care unit ( ICU ) travel nursing jobs involve assisting in the treatment of acutely ill patients with life-threatening conditions who require complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance, in settings like intensive care units and cardiac care units.

Must have an active California license. BLS ACLS and 2 years work experience

Job Requirements:

Daily Functions

• Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in the critical/coronary care unit
• Providing care to critically ill patients either from the intensive care or emergency department
• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients
• Provide direct patient care to assigned patients
• Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients
• Ensure quality care for patients
• Administering nursing care to patients via the nursing process
• Ensure care is appropriate to patient care needs
• Used in the intensive care units
• Grow in expertise as a critical care nurse
• Providing direct and individualized nursing care to cardiac patients
• Providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients
• Provide direct care to assigned patients
• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting
• Coordinating and supervising the nursing care provided to patients on assigned nursing unit
• Plan appropriate and nursing care
• Provide nursing care to identified patient population
• Used in treatment of critically ill patients
• Providing individualized goal directed nursing care to patients in the nursing unit, utilizing the nursing process and standards of nursing care
