Administer anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist. Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree required; Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational programaccredited by AANA council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educationalprograms or it predecessor required

Minimum Education
Graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the AccreditationReview Commission on Education for the Physician assistant (ARC-PA) or itspredecessor required

Certifications

Basic Life Support(BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) X PALS (Operating Roomonly); Certification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists'Certification by the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination(PANCE)

Licenses
Current Georgia License

Minimum Work Experience
Prior work as an anesthetist in an acute care setting is preferred
Prior work history with cardiac anesthesia is beneficial
