Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Faculty Position

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences is seeking a full time faculty member to complement our robust Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division in our clinical scholar pathway.  The ideal candidate will have a committed academic interest and demonstrated productivity in educational scholarship or an identified clinical or basic research area and also have excellent clinical skills in IVF and reproductive surgery.

The Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division currently includes 3 full-time physicians and a growing IVF practice with a full time onsite Ph.D. laboratory director. The practice includes fertility preservation, reproductive surgery (including robotics) and use of donor gametes. The division includes a clinical fellowship training program.  Research expertise includes clinical outcomes, laboratory technology, ultrasound diagnostic effectiveness, and ovarian physiology within the division.  NIH supported basic science investigations are ongoing within the department examining pregnancy associated vascular physiology, uterine physiology, menopause, and reproductive immunology. Urologic infertility specialists, and pediatric and medical endocrinology specialists are present at UVMMC along with full range of other colleagues and collaborators across the medical center and the university.  Academic rank, salary and benefits will be competitive and consistent with experience.  Preference is for an individual at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank who is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a certificate of special expertise in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  Board eligible candidates will be considered.

Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and/or service.  Applicants are requested to include in their cover letter information about how they will further this goal.
