Surgical Services Registered Nurse RN

An established healthcare system located in the heart of the DMV region is currently searching for multiple experienced Surgical Services Registered Nurses to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This general medical surgical facility is home to nearly 1,000 licensed beds and is proud to service nearly half a million inpatient and outpatient visits annually. The Surgical Services RN will join a not-for-profit healthcare system that is considered to be one of the largest in the surrounding area. The Surgical Services RN will join a surgical service line that provides surgical care for a number of procedures including general surgery, robotics, colon and rectal surgery, endoscopy, minimally-invasive surgery, gynecologic surgery, oral surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, bariatrics, and thoracic surgery. This health system is proud to utilize some of the latest surgical technologies including the da Vinci Surgical Robot System to provide a number of procedures such as Robotic Assisted Cystectomy (RARC), Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic Pyeloplasty, Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS), TORS for Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS).

The Surgical Services RN will be expected to provide quality patient-centered nursing care within the operating room and surgical service line. The Surgical Services RN will be an official graduate of an accredited school of nursing and will have prior experience circulating and scrubbing into the Operating Room.
