Olathe Medical Center, Inc, a 300-bed general acute care facility, is currently looking for a Nursing Supervisor professional to join our Nursing Administration team.
Position Description:
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care, consistent with the philosophy, goals and policies of Olathe Medical Center. Utilizes the principles of management and the nursing process to achieve optimal care and patient satisfaction. Primary functions are to coordinate staffing, supervise, instruct and guide nursing personnel in the absence of the Nursing Directors. Responsible for meeting JCAHO and Olathe Medical Center standards of nursing practice.
Position Requirements:
Education:
2 year/Associate degree from an accredited college of nursing required
4 year/Bachelor degree preferred
Experience:
3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills:
Analytical, Organizational and Verbal Communication skills required
Management experience preferred
License, Registration and/or Certification:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact required upon hire
Healthcare Provider CPR - (American Heart Association or American Red Cross ONLY) required within 7 days from date of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
