Registered Nurse (RN) | Minnehaha County Jail | Weekly Pay

General Purpose:

Interim HealthCare of Sioux Falls is excited to add caring, compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to our winning team to help staff at the Minnehaha County Jail. This opening is for two full time positions. Seeking RN's who would be interested in working OVN's starting after the New Year. Offering 12hrs shifts (6p-6:30a), for 3 nights a week. Security training will be provided, including safety protocols for this facility. RN's will work alongside other correctional staff and a LPN during the OVN's. Able to start after January 1st, 2021 and can turn into permanent position if employer and employee feel like its a good fit.

Shifts are Overnights (6p-6:30a)

Essential Functions:

• Provide direct patient care as assigned and in accordance with Patient's personalized care plan
• Prepare and administer medications according to the health care provider instructions and within the scope of the facility
• Ability to make independent decisions, follows instructions and interact with patients, family members, guests, and fellow staff members in a courteous and professional way
• Promotes a safe environment during care
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and has a current license as a RN for the state of South Dakota
• Current CPR certification
• Must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Background Check
• Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs of weight
