Schedule: 36 hours-Full Time, Night,12 hour shifts. Every other weekend, holiday rotation.
The ICU RN is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts who is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care as set forth in the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual. Demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for the patient with complex needs. Ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of patient care and is directly responsible to a designated nurse manager, or supervisor. Assures the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.

* Experienced ICU Nurse.
* BSN required.
* CCRN preferred.
* Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required.
* BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers and ACLS required.
* Must be comfortable with ventilators, pressors, multiple infusions, hemodynamic monitoring.
* Ability to contribute to the functioning of a Magnet seeking ICU.
* Must be a strong patient advocate.
* Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. standards.
* Must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
