The Pulmonary and Critical Care Division, Department of Medicine, Cedars-Sinai Health System, Los Angeles is seeking candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor with a focus in interventional pulmonology. The Pulmonary and Critical Care Division is ranked #3 in the US News and World Report and has been growing as an academic program with faculty that are expected to maintain excellence in clinical care, scholarly productivity, and education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Candidates should have experience in all aspects of care of patients with interventional pulmonology that includes but it is not limited to conventional bronchoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy, EBUS, airway tumor debridement (cryo-ablation, PDT,) management of airway obstruction with balloon dilation and stent placement as well as percutaneous tracheostomy. Furthermore, candidates are expected to continue to have board certification in critical care with some time attending in the medical ICU. Time will be provided for academic endeavors, and candidates will also be expected to have academic productivity to support upward promotion through the academic professorial series at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
