A highly respected health organization in the beautiful Anchorage, AK area is seeking a Med/ Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced, permanent position. New RN grads welcome! This a 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week), benefits-eligible position with relocation & sign-on.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Registered Nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patients' care on the Med/Surg floor
• Develop, update, and coordinate the patient's plan of care to achieve patient goals and to optimize outcomes and transitions across the care continuum
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Perform and maintain currency of essential competencies as required by specific area of hire and populations served
• Engage in ongoing professional development; promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates and disseminates research and evidence-based practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• Nursing degree/diploma in-hand upon hire
• BSN within 3 years of hire (RN's with 20+ years exempt)
• RN license - unencumbered (ability to get Registered Nurse AK License upon hire) or compact RN license
• Active BLS certification
