Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (RPCCC) in Buffalo NY is seeking a surgeon to join its Department of Thoracic Surgery. The Department currently has five surgeons and an interventional pulmonary physician and has witnessed substantial growth in its clinical activity. The candidate should be well-trained, with interest in thoracic oncology and a strong desire to participate in an active clinical practice within a multidisciplinary program. Strong minimally invasive surgical training or skills are essential. The breadth of the program can accommodate any specific interest a candidate may have, including translational and/or outcomes research. Interest and specific training in esophageal surgery is desirable, but not necessary. While the position is best suited for mid-career surgeons, well qualified recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
