Consultant – Maternal Fetal Medicine

This is a unique and flexible critical clinical leadership opportunity in our MFM unit with regional and national prominence. The ability to influence best practice at a national level is substantive. 

As a part of National Women's Health Services, the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service provides a regional service to 40,000 pregnant women and Fetal Therapy and Fetal Cardiac Services to New Zealand and some Pacific Islands (65,000 pregnancies).The position offers a mix of Maternal and Fetal medicine, on call commitments, leadership opportunity and possibly additional clinical sessions.

Applicable candidates will have a subspecialty qualification in MFM. You will also hold or be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (
