To provide routine elements of nursing care to residents daily under the supervision of an LPN and Nurse Manager or Shift Supervisor, as per Fort Hudson Nursing Center policy and established nursing care procedures. To provide resident care to ensure the safety, dignity and positive quality of life for our residents.
Primary Duties:
Assist residents with basic daily needs on an individual basis, per policy.
Provide ROM and ambulation per CCP
Assure Resident's needs are being met
Keep Resident rooms tidy and beds made
Transport residents to and from meals, activities, and appointments.
Vital signs per nurse in charge
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Active NYS Nurse Aide Certification Required.
Ability and willingness to follow direction. Able to work well with staff, Residents, Visitors.
Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds unassisted. Prolonged time on feet, able to lift/move/push/pull 100+lbs, with assist of another person.
