This 85+ bed hospital is well known for having 16 clinics within their organization that are strongly appreciated by the community. The Cardiovascular Nurse will be working across the Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation center.

The Nurse Director of Cardiovascular will lead the Cardiovascular Nurse in educating on departmental goals, facilities values, and ensuring quality patient care consistently. The RN will collaborate with departments leaders in order to meet the criteria of the mission of the hospital. The responsibilities of this staff nurse varies from treating cardiac patients during their recovery of cardiovascular disease, to educating their family and friends on how to further help the situation. Lowering the risk of future cardiac problems is the main goal of every Nurse Practitioner in the Cardiac Rehab Center.

Responsibilities of the Cardiovascular Nurse may include:

• Distribution of medication to rehab patients
• Educating patients on their health
• Continuing to check their vitals during the recovery process
• Customize programs for each patient based on their recovery needs
• Daily evaluation of patients levels of physical fitness
