Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing:

Assist in the supervision all nursing staff in the facility
Implementation of nursing policy and procedure
Overseeing nursing employee conduct
Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
Assessing the health needs of each resident

Requirements of the Assistant Director of Nursing:

Must have NY Registered Nurse (RN) license
Must have previous experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing, Nursing Supervisor or Unit Manager
Must have experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Must have management experience
