Nurse Practitioner Positions for Hospitalist Services Team

Hospitalist Services Team is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner (NP), to cover day shift (7a-5p) or (8a-6p) a 4-day work week with a combination of 10 or 12 hour shifts and/ or night shifts position (7p-7a). Weekday, weekend, shift work, holiday and on-call may be required.
• Program has clearly defined clinical pathways.

Successful candidate will have successfully completed an approved accredited program as acute
• care, nurse practitioner with appropriate certification exams.
• National certification in the area specialty and licensed by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• NPI number, DEA and CDS required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.

Previous experience as NP preferred, but not required. Registered nurse experience in an acute care setting highly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Floor calls,
• Admissions with orders and dictations.
• Back-up support is ICU APC, and nocturnist hospitalist.
• Work 4-day per week schedule with combined ten, or twelve hour shifts available

• • day shift (7a-5p) or (8a-6p)
  • night shifts position (7p-7a).
