Judge Healthcare is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner for one of our top healthcare clients in the Orlando area.

Job Details:

• Location : Orlando, FL
• Job Type : Contract (Contract extension may be possible on a case-by-case basis depending on location and community testing needs)
• Schedule : Hours based on location
• 3 weekdays and every other weekend (the weeks where the weekend is off will add hours into the week)
• Mon - Fri / 10 hr shifts
• Saturdays / 8 hr shifts
• Sundays / 7 hr shifts
• (If you can travel to more than one client location, you can get up to 38-40 hours)

Job Description:

The Nurse Practitioner delivers defined patient care services in a retail clinic environment. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals as you independently provide holistic, evidenced based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients ranging in age 18 months and above. Care is documented via computerized electronic health record. This position reports directly to the Senior Practice Manager. Responsibilities :

• Patient registration in EPIC EMR
• Insurance verification
• Point-of-care test specimen collection/processing
• Notifying patient of results
• Educate patient on appropriate next steps based on test results
• Maintaining infection control and lab processing requirements
• Screening patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Although the role is assigned to one particular location, travel may be required to nearby locations based on screening needs.
• Training and orientation will be provided prior to start.

Qualifications :

• Completion of a: Masters Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
• OR, in select states, Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Masters Degree in conjunction with Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role required.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
• Completed accredited DOT certificate training program prior to start date.
