UnityPoint Clinic and St. Lukes Work Well clinic is searching for a PRN Provider to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IowaSt. Lukes Work Well Solutions is looking for a PRN Provider to assist with coverage needs. Looking for an individual able to fill 2-4 shifts per month, either partial or full shift.St. Lukes Work Well Solutions provides physicals, workers comp treatment and follow-up, vaccinations, wellness screenings, drug screenings and more. Work Well Solutions partners with more than 400 local companies to solve their business health needs.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with the Work Well medical model.Establish and monitor appropriate levels of care for patients.Complete all medical record documentation in a timely manner.Work with Work Well Medical Director or Onsite Physician to ensure operations are consistent with medical and professional standards of care set forth by Work Well and UnityPoint Health.Perform physical, mental status, and medical history examinations in accordance with license requirements set forth by state regulations.Conducts a variety of employment-related physical examination, provides assessment and treatment of injured workers. Prescribes medication, orders therapy, as medically indicated. Refers cases to medical doctors as appropriate. Supports return-to-work philosophy.Make records of findings prior to being reviewed and countersigned by the supervising physicians in accordance with license requirements set forth by state regulations.Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory testsCompile patient medical data, including health history and physical examination results; interpret diagnostic test results for deviations and provides appropriate treatment.Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infections in accordance with license requirements set forth by state regulations.Meet with Work Well Medical Director and/or Onsite Physician to discuss the quality of patient care, policies, procedures, outcomes, reports, and records.Position has no weekends or call responsibilities

Qualifications:
Experienced Physician or Advance PractitionerTwo to five years of experience in primary care, occupational medicine, urgent care, or in an emergency medicine setting is preferredPhysician: MD/DO degree and hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Iowa Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited educational program for physician assistants, documentation of registration for next NCCPA Board administration or successful completion of NCCPA Board and maintenance of appropriate CME and be registered in the State of Iowa to practice medicine.Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner: Graduate of an accredited advanced practice nursing program, RN licensure in the State of Iowa, Masters Degree in nursingMust have current state and federal DEA certification BCLS/ACLS certification requiredKnowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skillsPlease contact Andrea Sims, Physician and Provider Recruiter, at 319-730-9513 or andrea.sims@unitypoint.org
