Physician Assistant - Reconstructive Surgery

Every aspect of your work will reflect the Legacy mission of making life better for others.Under the direction of the Physician Assistants Supervising Physician or Designated Agent, provides medical and surgical services to patients of the assigned clinic. Ability to make responsible decisions within the scope of practice as a dependent medical practitioner.Qualifications and Experience:Qualifications:Requires Bachelors degree and successful completion of a physician assistant program accredited by any of the following accrediting bodies:Committee on Allied Health, Education Accreditation of the American Medical Association (CAHEA)Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)Accreditation Review Commission on the Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)Current applicable state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or ability to obtain licensure upon date of hireCurrent BLS certificationMust submit information necessary to complete a National Practitioner Data Base search and meet Legacys standards for resultsExperience: Requires experience in direct patient management, in the surgical subspecialty of vascular, neurosurgery or orthopedic surgery (depending on assignment). Surgical assisting experience required.
