Physician -OB-GYN

Overview:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are looking to hire two OB-GYN Physicians to join the team. The need to hire two additional OB-GYN's is part of a growth strategy initiatedbased on community need and market expansion. The OB-GYN practice will be located at the AMG - Rockaway Speciality Suite and will be comprised of three OB-GYN Physicians and mid-levels. The position will focus on clinical duties and in addition will have some resident teaching responsibilities as well. The practice will cover the entire gamut of Womens Health and the following services will be provided on site -Obstetrics, Infertility, Osteoporosis, GYN surgery, Wellness Care, Gynecology, Family Planning, Menopause, and minimally invasive surgeries in office

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:Evaluate and treat women of all ages, including pregnancy-related care, at the highest possible level.Develop and maintain the optimum quality of ambulatory care for patients of the OB-GYN Department.Participate in community education and scientific programs as may be delegated or assigned to the physician by Hospital's Chief Medical Officer or the Service Line Director, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women'sServe on committees assigned by the Service Line Director of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women's Developencourage and support programmatic development and initiatives including but not limited to service line development.Provideleadership and direction through committee participation, policy and protocol development.Maintainadequate CME credits to fulfill the requirements of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Hospital Medical Staff by-laws and Department rules and regulations

Qualifications:
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
