Summary: We currently have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Phoenix, AZ at Valley Pain Consultants. This is a Per Diem position with available shifts working Monday- Friday 7:00AM-5:00PM. The Position requires 4-5 Shifts per month. The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering care to patients under the supervision of the physician. Responsibilities:
Prepares patient assessments and plans of care within the scope of license. Plans, implements and documents nursing care under the direction of physician.Greets and escorts patient and family to exam room. Obtains purpose of visit, vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and measurements) and documents appropriately. Informs the physician and/or provider of abnormal readings or significant deviations from prior visits.Assists physician and/or provider with minor surgical procedures involving direct patient care, including assistance with fluoroscopy equipment.Administers injections under the direction of physician.Instructs patients and families regarding preparation for procedure and post procedure needs.Monitors patients post-procedure.Maintains patient care equipment and notifies Office Manager of repair requirements.Reads and abides by the companys code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs.Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company.Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so.Answers questions and serves as a resource for all clinical staff.Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Ability to deliver strong customer service and deal with a wide variety of patients.At least 1 year of experience working in pre/post operative situations.Ability to work in a team environment.Associates degree in nursing from an accredited College or University Bachelors Degree preferred.Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.IV experience.Electronic Health Records.Microsoft Office Suite.Active State RN license.Active CPR certification required (BLS and ACLS)Envision Physician Servicesis a multispecialty physician group and practice management company.
