Role

Annapolis Pediatrics is seeking a high qualified full-time (32 hours/per week) Pediatric Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to provide top quality, patient-centered health care to pediatric patients in an urgent care-like setting in our Annapolis location. We are seeking a passionate pediatric physician assistant who is enthusiast about providing quality patient care to the families within our walk-in clinic. We believe in the four foundations of excellence in pediatric care: quality, convenience, choice, and continuity.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience
  • Successful completion of a board certified Physician Assistant program by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
  • Active Certified Physician Assistant license to practice in Maryland OR
  • An active and fully accredited physician assistant license with the Maryland Board of Physicians
  • Carries NPI, DEA, MD CDS, CPR, and similar, applicable licensing
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in Pediatrics required. Experience in pediatric emergency medicine or urgent care setting strongly preferred
  • Must be experienced and comfortable with suturing
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of computer systems and applications including electronic health record (EHR / EMR) usage
