Registered Nurse Med-Surg: Weekends

This is a Weekend Dayshift position 6:45am-7:15pm

Weekend shift differential of 10% added to base pay

Doctors Hospital is a small private physician-owned hospital specializing in Ortho & Neuro Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
• Participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership while working cooperatively with other health professionals
• Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
• Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of Doctors Hospital

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
• BCLS Certification with ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
• Previous work experience in an ambulatory surgery setting or acute care hospital preferred but not required
• Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position
