Position: Staff Physician

We are seeking a part time Staff Physician to provides services for the NET Steps methadone pharmacotherapy program and provides medical and clinical oversight of services provided by physician's assistant.

Job Type/Hours: Part time (24 hrs.) hours vary on the needs of caseload

Location: 2205 Bridge St, Philadelphia, PA 19137

Essential Position Responsibilities: (Other duties as assigned)

* Conducting Admissions to NET Center- Initial Physical Exam and Methadone or Suboxone induction
* Determining diagnosis and determining narcotic dependence
* Provide services to NET Steps patients in all programs, including HER and Prison-Based treatment programs.
* Participate in and attend meetings at requested NET facilities as needed at other sites and/or entities for outside meetings and conferences
* Provide the number of service hours per week as agreed upon, which may increase or decrease on an as-needed basis, based on client census and program needs as determined by Program Director
* Provide medical oversight to NET Steps patients
* Perform Annual Physical Exam
* Assessing coexisting medical conditions
Minimum Qualification:

* Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
* Completion of residency and current, valid license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
* Must be either ASAM certified, or Board certified in Addictions (in the case of a Psychiatrist), or completion of a minimum of three years working directly in a pharmacotherapy program.
* Adult and Pediatric CPR Certification Required
* PA Child Abuse Clearance required
* PA Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training Required
* FBI Clearance required
* PA Criminal Clearance required
* Health Assessment required
* TB Test required
