Description
CHRISTUS Spohn is currently seeking PRN nurses to help during the COVID pandemic.
Nurses with INACTIVE, RETIRED, or DELINQUENT Texas licenses who would like to assist with the COVID-19 pandemic: create an account through the Texas Nurse Portal (https://txbn.boardsofnursing.org/txbn).
Summary:
Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
One-year experience in nursing preferred.
Current Texas State RN License (*see above pandemic exception to this requirement and complete TX BON application for renewal)
CPR (American Heart Association)
Work Type:
Per Diem As Needed
