What we want to see from YOU:

* LPN license in good standing
* 18 years old or older
* Eligible to work in the United States
* Valid drivers license and a clean driving record according to Bethesda policy
* Able to pass a physical, drug screen and criminal background check

This nursing practice is directed toward assisting persons supported to achieve their highest possible level of health and independence. The nurse must practice in cooperation and collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate individual services. The Nurse endorses the promotion of wellness, normalization, and advocacy in providing services to individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities. The nursing role focuses primarily on interventions that maximize the psycho-social, physical, effective, cognitive and developmental strengths of the persons, families, staff, significant others, and those who deliver services. The Registered Nurse provides nursing leadership and serves as an advocate to ensure individuals receive appropriate healthcare treatment, health education, and other health related services which honor the rights of the persons supported.
