Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac Access Unit

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem (day) Nurse Practitioner for our caridiac unit at Morristown Medical Center. The successful candidate will have cardiac experience as an NP. Come join the #1 Hospital in NJ (USNews)!

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.The NP will be expected to manage, supervise and support cardiac stress testing at an outpatient cardiac imaging center. Previous experience in a fast paced practice or with stress testing environment desirable Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. In collaborative practice with the designated collaborating physician and within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, will provide episodic care for patients in the CV Imaging Center. Responds to on-site emergencies, implements emergency care and crisis management. Establishes relationships with employees and referring providers. May be requested to provide lectures and/or webinars for clients. Appropriately uses the resources available through Atlantic Health System to provide best care

Qualifications:
Valid NP License in NJACLSBLS
