JOB PURPOSE:
Under general supervision, assists physicians, PA's, and staff members in providing optimal ambulatory
health care to patients related to allergy care and testing; stocks and maintains exam rooms; assists with
clinical and clerical duties. The Allergy Tech works under immediate supervision of the Practice Manager
and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.

Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Successful completion of an accredited practical nurse program and LPN in the state of Georgia.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference may be given to candidates who possess a Medical Assistant Certification from the
Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); or the Accrediting Bureau
of Health Education Schools (ABHES); A minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a
physician practice.
