Title: Certified Nurse MidwifeSchedule: Full-TimeLocation: OB/GYN ArlingtonThe Certified Nurse Midwife renders direct patient care as part of the care team for patients both during office visits and delivery.Requirements:A. Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctorate in Nursing Required.B. Experience: Three years experience in Advanced Practice Nursing preferred.C. Licensure: Certified Nurse-Midwife through the American Midwifery Certification Board Required; Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner by the Virginia Department of Health Professions Required; Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure in Nursing Required; American Heart Association BLS Certification preferred.D. Other Qualifications: A compassionate and empathetic nature and ability to work with women of all ages and races. Execellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work quickly under stress.
