The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Women & Infants Hospital is recruiting for the Division Director of the Division of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Generalist Division has twenty faculty members. Candidates must be board certified, must qualify for a full-time faculty position as Professor or Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Brown, be eligible for medical licensure in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut, have a national reputation for scholarly productivity, and demonstrated experience in managing a team and supervising physicians and non-medical staff. Job responsibilities include patient care, teaching, research, and administration. The successful candidate will be expected to express a vision for the future of the division that includes innovation in research, clinical care, education and training.
