Your Role With Us:As a member of our skilled CVOR team, we will rely on you to apply your specialized cardiovascular experience and training, demonstrate critical thinking and consistently follow established processes to deliver outstanding patient care. The Operating Room team at Salem Health is a high performing team delivering excellent patient care in a healing and supportive environment within the perioperative setting. ~Michelle Tobias, Nurse ManagerUp to $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience!Core Functions: Initiates the transfer of the patient into the operating room in a timely and efficient manner.Demonstrates confidence and efficiency in the roles of circulating nurse and scrub nurse.Responsible for the delivery of professional, safe, and quality patient care in the operative suite and perioperative environment.Assist with adult cardiac and thoracic procedures via traditional open sternotomy and minimally invasive approaches.Background/Expertise:Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science degreeCurrent and unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of recent CVOR experienceKnowledge of CABG, thoracic and cardiac proceduresBLS issued by the American Heart Association requiredWe have many excellent opportunities available!
