The Perlmutter Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, at NYU Langone Health seeks candidates for a full time faculty position in the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program.  NYU Langone Health and the Perlmutter Cancer Center is one of the nation's premier centers for excellence in clinical care, biomedical research and medical education.

The Bone Marrow Transplant Program at NYU Langone Health is a rapidly expanding program. The program performs all types of adult and pediatric autologous and allogeneic transplants with focus on haploidentical transplants. The program has recently moved to a new outpatient space with state-of-the-art collection and processing facility.

We are seeking a passionate clinical scientist who will provide care for patients undergoing stem cell transplant and CAR-T cell therapy. We encourage candidate with expertise in all aspects of transplant care and cellular therapy. We expect the candidate to fully participate in the programmatic requirements to maintain FACT accreditation.   In addition, given the research focus of the program, the ideal candidate would have experience in designing and conducting early phase clinical trials particularly with novel therapeutic agents and innovative approaches.

Applicants must have an M.D or M.D. and Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, education and research. Experience with clinical trials and an interest in clinical or translational research is strongly preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ experience following fellowship is a pre-requisite. The candidate will have a faculty appointment at NYU Grossman’s school of medicine at a rank commensurate to experience and academic achievements.
