The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent, non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking a full-time academic, Noninvasive Cardiologist in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Cardiology. Responsibilities include providing excellent patient care to hospitalized patients and consultations for outpatients; teaching residents, fellows, and medical students; and developing an active research program. This non-tenure track appointment will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) commensurate with experience.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be board-certified in cardiovascular disease and echocardiography, and licensed in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment, with a record of academic accomplishments (scholarly activity and/or innovative teaching).  Broad training in echocardiography (including TTE, TEE, 3D, and stress echo); expertise in non-invasive imaging and inpatient clinical cardiology; and experience performing TAVR, LAA occlusion, structural mitral, and intraoperative echocardiography are required.

Clinical opportunities are also available in nuclear cardiology.
