The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington, School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (without tenure due to funding) with a focus on Cardio-oncology. Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. This position will be expected to engage in clinical activities including management of patients at risk for cardiotoxicity from cancer treatment, cardiovascular complications during cancer treatment, cardiovascular risk reduction in long-term cancer survivors, and multimodality cardiac imaging. The successful candidate will be expected to support the department's commitment to patient care, scholarship and medical education. This position will be expected to attend on clinical service and mentor trainees in cardio-oncology related projects.

University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. This position will have an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30]. The anticipated start date will July 1, 2022.

Applicants must have an MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in electrophysiology.  Successful candidates must have an academic track record with evidence of publications. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
