The Division of Hematology at the Seidman Cancer Center, University Hospitals, Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a Stem Cell Transplant and/or Cellular Therapy Specialist to join our Stem Cell Transplant Program at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor Level. Seidman Cancer Center at University Hospitals, Cleveland Medical Center is part of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCCN Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a member of the NCCN Clinical Trials Network. We provide a rich environment for clinical investigation with extensive core resources and a scientific program in hematopoietic disorders. . The section of Hematologic Malignancies and Stem Cell Transplantation is focused on the development of novel cellular therapies such as the production of CAR-T cells, mesenchymal stromal cells and virus specific T and NK cells. We are a member of the CTN Clinical Trials network and have a robust menu of Investigator Initiated, Intergroup and supportive care clinical trials in the areas of stem cell transplantation and immune effector therapy. The Stem Cell Transplant Program at Seidman Cancer Center is FACT accredited for both the Clinical Program and Cellular Therapy Processing Lab including more than minimal manipulation.
Applicants must possess an MD, DO or MD/PHD, be board eligible or certified in hematology and/or oncology, and be eligible for an Ohio State Medical License. Successful candidates will receive competitive compensation and appointments in the Department of Medicine at the appropriate academic level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor).
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ambulatory patients in their specialty as well as hospitalized patients with hematologic malignancies undergoing cellular therapies on a rotational basis and will be expected to participate in clinical research and education.
