Assistant Professor of Orthodontics
The Division of Orthodontics, UConn School of Dental Medicine offers a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level available immediately. All candidates must have DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and a certificate in Orthodontics from an accredited U.S. or Canadian orthodontic program. Board certification from the American Board of Orthodontists is required. Candidates possessing a Masters or PhD in any of the biological sciences, with related research experience will be strongly considered. Responsibilities to include: teaching didactic and clinical orthodontics to undergraduate and advanced training/graduate students; development of a research emphasis independently or in collaboration with others; and academic service to the school and/or community. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to participate in a busy intramural practice. Salary is commensurate with training and experience.
