Bone Marrow Transplant Physician

Tremendous Opportunity for experienced Bone Marrow Transplant Physician (minimum 5 years) to obtain FACT accreditation and lead the development of an Autologous Transplant Program, along with Cellular Therapy Program, including CAR-T immune therapies and solid tumor CAR-T trials.

The transplant program will be based at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest located in Allentown, PA which is a 900+ bed tertiary medical center flagship teaching hospital, with full specialty care and comprehensive residencies, fellowships, and medical school affiliation with University of South Florida.  Specialty care includes Level 1 Trauma, Regional Burn Center, Kidney and Pancreas Transplants, Perinatal, Neonatal and Children’s Hospital, Lehigh Valley Heart Institute, Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Neurology and complex Neurosurgical capabilities.

The incoming leader will have full support from Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute, a member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance, and co-development of program with faculty from Memorial Sloan Kettering.  The position will offer competitive salary and benefits, and programmatic support from the Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute.  The successful candidate will join the division of hematology/oncology which includes just under 30 physician colleagues who treat 5000 new analytic cancer cases annually in the program, serving a tertiary care population of over 1 million.  We have an ACGME accredited fellowship program with nine fellows in training and access to over 200 clinical trials available through various cooperatives.
