Intermountain Healthcare is looking for one BC/BE Palliative Care physician

Position will be inpatient and outpatient palliative care. Outpatient care is with an Oncology practice.

Ogden Practice Information

One BC/BE palliative care physician to join our outpatient palliative care team.

Will provide primary care doctors and sub-specialists a much needed system that will improve transitions from aggressive, cure-oriented care to hospice, goals of care, improve symptom management, and promote shared decision making in patients with advanced illness

Two to four days a week in own clinic seeing referrals that may include co-managing patients in other physicians’ clinics and inpatient settings

Full outpatient supportive team including a care manager, social worker and chaplain

Close association with an existing robust outpatient hospice team 

Colaboration with an inpatient palliative care consult team on the same hospital campus

Creativity and flexibility in designing a more robust outpatient program with Intermountain system support

No after-hours call

Clinic is located in McKay-Dee Hospital
